Plater Youth Club members spent an exciting weekend at the Gibraltar Retreat Centre recently. The twelve young people participated in a bullying themed weekend in which they learned about coping strategies, how and where to report bullying and the difference between bullying and cyber-bullying.
St Anne’s School will be taking part in its annual ‘Health and Fitness Charity Challenge’ tomorrow at 2pm. Pupils, staff, auxiliary staff, parents and friends of the school will be power-walking or jogging around the Bayside Sports Complex (athletics track) for forty- five minutes, after a warm up session led by Janine Pereira (GibFit Club, Piloxing MT). The school is aiming to raise funds for the Gibraltar based charity: ‘Action For Schools - Sierra Leone, (registered charity no. 246.), Cancer Research Gibraltar and MND Gibraltar.
