A spokesperson for GAMPA said: "The aim of this Studio Theatre is to produce plays and performances more suited to an intimate setting in which the connection between performer and audience is fostered and developed. We hope this engaging venue will become a vibrant, supportive new space for performers, artists and the community at large.

"With the opening of The Magazine Studio Theatre GAMPA continues its commitment in delivering high-quality productions, developing performers and making theatre accessible to everyone. We invite the community to come and join us at this hip and heritage setting where everyone is welcome and engage in the art of theatre."

Tickets for first production will be available starting 1st October via www.buytickets.gi or at GAMPA, 7 Hospital Hill, between 4pm and 8pm from Monday 1st October.
