The Government says it notes, “with disappointment”, the European Parliament’s objection, today, to the entry into force of the European Commission’s decision to remove certain jurisdictions, including Gibraltar, from the EU’s list of ‘high-risk’ third-countries with strategic deficiencies as regards anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing (“AML/CFT”).
Members from the prestigious British Science Museum are once again visiting Gibraltar and conducting a series of experiments throughout the week commencing Monday 9th November 2015 at the Ince’s Hall and at various schools in Gibraltar for the benefit of school children.
The GSLP/Liberals kick off the street hustings of the election campaign at Casemates tomorrow Saturday at 10.30am. Candidates will be addressing those present as from 11am.
The GSLP-Liberal Alliance will continue to work closely with the European Union, and look at completing a study into the economic impact of Gibraltar joining the Customs Union and into the impact of BREXIT, the possibility of the UK leaving the union as a result of its future referendum.
