For over three decades Gibraltarian dancers have been putting Gibraltar on the map by competing in dance competitions across the world. Now the Rock will have a chance to show the world what a strong dance nation it is! Gibraltar is set to become the focal point of top dancers across Europe when it stages the 2015 European Show Dance Championships.
Latino stars Chambao, Andy & Lucas, Los Rebujitos, Radio Macandé, Miguel Sáez & Mario Mendes are set to perform at Rock Royale events’ Sunset Festival on 26th July. The event will be held at the Victoria Stadium, bringing together music lovers for an evening of Latin and local live music, including Jetstream, Hollie April and This Side Up.
With filming for Channel 5’s third series of Gibraltar: Britain in the Sun underway, the team is looking for new characters to take part in the show.
The Ministry of Culture has awarded the organisation, production and staging of this year’s Summer Nights to J2 Productions and Fresh Entertainment.
The Ministry is working closely with the Production Company in order to provide a very enjoyable five weeks of varied entertainment.
As part of the Gibraltar World Music Festival, acclaimed international dancer Nathan Conroy will return to the Rock to showcase a series of performances to celebrate Chindia, this year’s festival theme. June 12th will pay host to a selection of street performances along Chatham Counterguard with accompanying live music, dance, balance acts, circus acts, fire eaters and international artists.
