ARRESTS
An 18-year-old local man has been arrested on suspicion of causing Grievous Bodily Harm with Intent and Criminal Damage.
The Chief Minister has noted the press reports of a case filed against him in Madrid by activists of the Spanish right wing political group "Vox".
On the 26th November from midday The ARK Gibraltar will take their acts of random kindness into the streets.
The ARK stands for the The Act of Random Kindness, a non profit group meeting every Monday 4 pm - 5 pm. The aim of the group is to provide a fun and creative environment in which the children will learn skills associated with emotional intelligence such as empathy, kindness, caring, sharing, patience, cooperation etc.
The Gibraltar Electricity Authority’s (GEA) new public counter was inaugurated yesterday by the Chief Minister, Fabian Picardo, in the presence of the Minister for Education, Heritage, Environment, Energy and Climate Change, Dr John Cortes.
Rebecca Faller has taken the top prize in the annual Poetry Competition. The competition, which this year attracted 360 entries, is organised by Gibraltar Cultural Services on behalf of the Ministry of Culture, and in conjunction with the Gibraltar Chronicle.
The Three Kings Cavalcade is the first event on Gibraltar’s social calendar after the New Year’s festivities, which is enjoyed by young and adults alike. The event will take place on Thursday 5th January 2017.
A Dance Presentation was organised at the Tercentenary Sports Hall by the Gibraltar National Dance Organisation on Friday 4th November.
