The Minister for Sport, Steven Linares and the Minister for Equality, Samantha Sacramento, have sent good luck and their best wishes to the Special Olympics contingent at the World Winter Games which will be held in Austria from the 18th to 24th March.

The results were revealed at the GBC Sports Awards ceremony, broadcast live from Bruno’s Restaurant at Ocean Village last night. Over 175 guests including the Chief Minister, members of Parliament and representatives of local sports associations attended the event.
The Minister for Sport, Steven Linares, has sent a congratulatory message to the Gibraltar Taekwondo squad that returned home from their participation at the Northern Ireland International Poomsae Championships with three gold and one silver medal respectively. The event that took place in Belfast was attended by 390 competitors from across 13 countries.
