Voting in the European Parliament this morning on an update to the Single European Sky legislation, MEPs have chosen to exclude Gibraltar from the legislation, which covers the safe and efficient utilisation of airspace and the air traffic management system, within the EU.
Following an interview in the Gibraltar Chronicle, in which Miss Gibraltar Maroua Kharbouch expressed her “disappointment” at not being considered a Gibraltarian, the Government has replied by clarifying the various definitions of “Gibraltarian” and the benefits associated therewith.
The Government says that the recent statement by the GSD on the issue of bullying allegations is a “staggering reflection of their inability to understand” the depth of the problems they presided over and perpetuated whilst in office and their repercussions on vulnerable people's lives.
