GSD member for Parliament, Damon Bossino has been hailed as the Opposition’s Deputy Leader. In an announcement made today by Leader Daniel Feetham, Mr. Bossino has also been given further shadow ministerial responsibilities for Financial Services.
Mr. Bossino insisted that his appointment was a great, but humbling honour. He added, ‘I will of course continue to discharge my Opposition parliamentary responsibilities and work hard to seek the GSD’s return to office. Both the leader and I are very seriously concerned about the way that Gibraltar’s affairs are being handled both internally and in relation to our international relations, both being areas which, given Gibraltar’s size and circumstances, invariably overlap.
In the latest contribution to the row over GFA match invitations, the Government has stated Edwin Reyes is “acutely embarrassed that he has given incorrect information to the leader of his party.”
GONHS has said that Opposition Leader Danny Feetham made an incorrect statement in yesterday’s interview on GBC. GONHS says that, during an interview on the proposed football stadium, Mr Feetham claimed that GONHS had previously “condemned and criticized” the building of a park at Europa Point from an environmental point of view, back when the GSD was in government.
The GSD Opposition says it notes and welcomes the willingness of the Government to review the Gibraltarian Status Act.
