GSD Says Delivery Of Education During Coronavirus Pandemic Is “Essential”
The GSD says it notes the statement by the Education Minister, Gilbert Licudi at the Covid 19 Press Conference on Saturday 4th April, where he confirmed that close to 6,000 of our children were not attending schools due the measures put in place by the Government to slow the pace of the virus and ultimately to save lives of our citizens.

Earlier this week we informed you that Gibraltar may have lost its first resident to COVID 19.
This was the case of a 57 year old male who had been self-isolating and who called 111 complaining about shortness of breath, a symptom of COVID 19.
Man Who Died Did Not Have COVID-19
The 57-year-old man who passed away on Thursday due to a cardiac arrest did not have COVID-19.
Stricter Measures Implemented At Pensioner Estates - Albert Risso House Resident Tests Positive For COVID-19
The Housing Department has received confirmation from the GHA that one of the residents at Albert Risso House has tested positive for Covid-19. The resident is currently in isolation at home at will be monitored closely by medical staff. How the tenant has contracted the virus is currently being investigated, but initially it seems that the person could have contracted the virus via something that was handed on.
