Former Commanding Officer of the Royal Gibraltar Regiment, Lieutenant Colonel (Rtd) Mark Randall, will be undertaking the mammoth task of walking more than 8,000km from Gibraltar to Jerusalem, all in the name of charity.
St Anne’s School will be taking part in its annual ‘Health and Fitness Charity Challenge’ tomorrow at 2pm. Pupils, staff, auxiliary staff, parents and friends of the school will be power-walking or jogging around the Bayside Sports Complex (athletics track) for forty- five minutes, after a warm up session led by Janine Pereira (GibFit Club, Piloxing MT). The school is aiming to raise funds for the Gibraltar based charity: ‘Action For Schools - Sierra Leone, (registered charity no. 246.), Cancer Research Gibraltar and MND Gibraltar.
Childline Gibraltar, funded by the Kusuma Trust, and the Trestle Theatre Company UK will be organising storytelling and theatre workshops that deal with issues around family relationships from the 14th to the 20th of March 2016.
