Mar 07 - Immigration Act Changes Allow Moroccans 21 Days in Gibraltar Without Special Entry Permission
Gibraltar has amended its Immigration, Asylum and Refugee Act so as to waive visa requirements for nationals of specified countries.
The first such individuals to benefit from this change will be Moroccan nationals holding valid Schengen multiple entry visas. In the past, Moroccans with Schengen visas were permitted to enter Gibraltar only on a case-by- case basis with most of the successful applications being permitted only on compassionate grounds.
The Environmental Safety Group has today noted their surprise at the release of the Government tender for the development of a tourist and leisure site at Nuffield Pool.
Following recent tests carried out on locally sold products; all results have come back negative for horse DNA. The Environmental Agency had a number of products tested, including Waitrose Frozen Lasagne, Eroski Lasagne, Coviran Canelone, Maheso Lasagne, which is sold by Cisarego, and Maheso Canelone and Bolognaise. 
At a presentation ceremony on Tuesday the 26th of February 2013 Commissioner Eddie Yome presented eight members of police staff with certificates recognising loyal service to the Royal Gibraltar Police.
Last Summer, 8 year old Ben Donohue, who lives in Gibraltar with his family, carried out a 5 mile swim to raise funds for the Neuroblastoma Children’s Cancer Alliance and critically ill 6 year old, Jamie Inglis. . Sadly Jamie lost his battle with Neuroblastoma in January this year.
