The “Sun Swale” - an old tug - was sunk this morning off the South Mole to create an artificial reef. The project to create an underwater environment to attract fish and other marine species is the result of a collaboration between the Helping Hand Trust and GONHS.

1 person arrested for being in possession of a controlled drug.
1 person arrested for the offence of Burglary and Taking a conveyance.
1 Person arrested for Criminal Damage.
1 Person arrested for Driving a Motor Vehicle Whilst Over the Prescribed Limit.

1 Person arrested for Driving Whilst Over the Prescribed Limit, Suspicion of Taking a Conveyance, No Insurance , Failing to Stop and Going Equipped
1 Person arrested for Being in Possession of a Radio Apparatus, Obstructing Police and Dangerous Driving
Two local men, namely 40 year- old Lee CRUZ-PARRY of Southampton Court, Harbour Views and 35 year- old Christian CHIPOLINA of Wave Crest House, Mid Harbours Estate were jointly charged yesterday with an alleged Burglary committed in the early hours of yesterday in the premises of the Montagu Tapas Bar in Chatham Counterguard.
The RGP’s Neighbourhood Policing Unit has today ended its prescription drugs collection campaign which commenced last Thursday 5th March. During this time, a large number of expired or unwanted prescription medicines were handed in to the RGP teams, not only at the collection point at the ICC, but also the district offices and on visits to Albert Risso House and Bishop Canilla House.
The final concrete caisson was laid today signalling the completion of the wharf around the small berths marina. Following this move, Minister Licudi insisted that today marked a milestone event for the project.
