Clubhouse Gibraltar will be holding a Coffee Morning on Tuesday 16th May from 10am to 12pm at the Clubhouse premises (304A Main Street) to celebrate Mental Health Awareness Week. The charity will also be holding their annual ‘Wear Green Day’ on Wednesday 17th May.
Calpe House have received a donation of £2,000 from the Members and Committee of the Casino Calpe.
The Disability Society funded art supplies for the Artistically Ours exhibition, and all proceeds from the sale of the paintings, amounting to £2530, were donated back to the Society. The funds were then used to purchase equipment for the newly refurbished Sensory room at St Bernadette’s Resource Centre, in consultation with the Care Agency.
Gibraltarian GP Karl Alvarez recently returned from a successful five day race in the freezing temperatures and snow of Swedish Lapland, his third race in his bid become the first person to complete all five stages of the Beyond the Ultimate global challenge in the space of one year.
