The Government notes that the weekend press and television in Spain has been full of misleading allegations against Gibraltar. Each of these will be challenged by the Government in correspondence as well as in public statements designed to reverse the negative impression that such allegations may have given.

The Gibraltar Health Authority has announced that, in keeping with a manifesto commitment to improve conditions for Ambulance personnel, new, expanded accommodation has been provided for the GHA Ambulance team.

The trial of Kenneth Paul Llambias started this morning at the Supreme Court. Mr Llambias is accused of stealing jewellery and money belonging to one of his patients who has a long history of mental illness.
