This is the greatest honour that the Inner Temple can bestow on an overseas member who has attained distinction in legal and public life within his/her home jurisdiction.

The GSD Opposition has called on the Government to institute an independent investigation into the complaint by 35 trainees of alleged bullying by Joanna Hernandez, made last week.
The party claims that the Government chose to employ Ms Hernandez as a Senior manager within the public service, ostensibly because, they argued, she should have been reinstated by the GSD Government. During this time she has also played a leading role in the Dr Giraldi Enquiry.
Last night's friendly between the Gibraltar National Team and the Faroe Islands saw a 4-1 win for the Faroe Islands who are ranked at 51 by UEFA. The match, played at the Victoria Stadium, was kicked off with a home side score by GFA Captain Roy Chipolina within the first 15 minutes.
Last year Childline Gibraltar received 781 calls to the Helpline and 21% of these were bullying related. A further 23% were abuse-related and it is important to note that most cases of abuse also involve some degree of bullying. The charity believes that this clearly demonstrates that bullying amongst young people is an issue in Gibraltar.
Early yesterday morning, RGP Officers challenged five men acting suspiciously in the area of Camp Bay when they realised that they were in possession of five bales of Cannabis Resin. Three of the men, namely Juan Diego Araujo De Vera, aged 40 of No.15 Stanley Buildings, Francisco Jesus Guerrero Navas, aged 23 of La Linea and Mohamed Tarik Baraka Taher, aged 39 of Ceuta were arrested on suspicion of Possession of a Controlled Drug.
This afternoon a further contestant signed up for Miss Gibraltar 2014. The Miss Gibraltar Office, along with all of this year's contestant's and last year's winner will man a Miss Gibraltar 2014 Recruitment stand in Casemates Square this afternoon, in an attempt to entice girls to enter.
